Our Company

Founded in 1983 by Daniel and François Guitard, Guitard Doors and Windows started out in a smallcountry home on Eardley Road. The company moved to larger premises on Chemin Pink a year later. In 1988, the business made a final move to 1706 Chemin Pink, where it has been welcoming its clients for more than 20 years. In 1998, Daniel Guitard became the sole owner of the company. Under Daniel’s leadership, Guitard Doors and Windows acquired a solid reputation for excellence among Aylmer residents. Its expertise is now known in the entire greater Ottawa-Gatineau region.

In 2013, Guitard Doors and Windows joined the Verdun family of companies to continue to improve the quality of our products and services. We now offer products direct from our state-of-the-art manufacture just outside Ottawa and the largest team of professional installers in the area. Verdun Windows and Doors has been proudly serving the Ottawa-Carleton region since 1982. Your satisfaction is why we are in business. We have built our business on 4 core principles:
